The evolution in the role of an engineer and the globalization of organizations means that engineers nowadays are required to be mobile and versatile.
Most organizations are now aware that students with international experience have a particular mindset which is extremely valuable in their careers, (whether international or not).

The UTT policy is therefore to encourage students to go abroad for study or work placement periods.This is why the UTT takes part in international exchange programmes and has signed agreements with many foreign universities.

The USA GE4 program

The UTT sends students abroad both through bi-lateral agreements and the GE4 program. The GE4 (USA-Europe -Asia) is a program that organizes student exchanges between a network of American, Asian and European universities and engineering schools. These exchanges are made on the base of reciprocity and tuition fees are waived for all parties involved. In recent years, UTT students have been selected for the following American universities:
